Alan Williams' $874,636 contract with the Phoenix Suns has been guaranteed.

“It was an easy decision for us,” Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough said. “He’s played well at two summer leagues. He’s really improved from the end of last season. He’s transformed his body. He’s developing his touch outside the paint and added a push shot.”

Williams went to high school in the Phoenix area.

Williams was an all-NBA Summer League first team honoree this year, when he averaged 11.8 points and 11.2 rebounds over six games.

Williams is the Suns’ 14th player with a guaranteed contract for next season. They can carry up to 15 players in the regular season.
