Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz have agreed upon a four-year, $102 million contract extension.

The Jazz will avoid restricted free agency on Gobert in July, when he likely would’ve found an offer sheet for a four-year, $110 million maximum contract.

The deal could save the Jazz between $8 million and $10 million over the life of the deal.

Gobert was the 27th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of France.
