Kevin Durant will likely wait until later in July to re-sign with the Golden State Warriors.

Durant will allow the Warriors to do the majority of their offseason maneuvering before settling on his terms.

Durant is likely to take a below max one-plus-one deal in order to give the Warriors more flexibility in retaining Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston. Durant will not field any outside offers.

Durant has a $27.7 million player option for the 17-18 season that he will decline.

"Everyone expects this to be an easy process," one source said.

Durant and Rich Kleiman have become very close with Bob Myers over their year working together.
