The New York Knicks remain motivated to trade away Carmelo Anthony and they are engaged with the Houston Rockets.

With the Knicks not wanting to take back the contract of Ryan Anderson, the Knicks and Rockets will likely need to involve a third team.

Anthony's camp, however, is confident that he will eventually be traded to the Rockets.

"I'm told Carmelo feels pretty confident that a deal will get done at this point to Houston," said Ian Begley. The Knicks also have confidence a deal will get done.

Anthony has a full no-trade clause but is willing to waive it for the Rockets or Cleveland Cavaliers.
