Gregg Popovich won his 1,222nd career game as a head coach and surpassed Jerry Sloan for third in all-time NBA coaching wins following the San Antonio Spurs' 154-147 double-OT win against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The game featured a career-high 56 points from LaMarcus Aldridge, which is the most points for a Spurs player since Tony Parker scored 44 points in 2008, and the most points without a 3-pointer since Shaquille O'Neal in 2000.

2006 was the last time that two teams combined for over 300 points in a game, not including the All-Star Game. The Spurs also shot 16-19 from deep, the highest 3-point percentage ever for a team with more than 15 attempts.

Derrick White and Jerami Grant each chipped in with career-highs in points, while Russell Westbrook set a career-high in assists with a triple-double with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 24 assists.
