Kristaps Porzingis will 'probably' not play this season for the Dallas Mavericks as he recovers from a torn ACL, according to Mark Cuban.

With Porzingis a restricted free agent this summer, the Mavs are hoping that the allure of playing with Luka Doncic will keep him in Dallas long-term.

Carlisle had high hopes for the duo.

"We obviously think Porzingis is a great young talent, similar in many ways to Dirk. This is kind of a Dirk-and-[Steve] Nash type of situation, only these guys are taller," said Carlisle.
