Kristaps Porzingis says he's in better shape than ever after participating in his first full contact, 5-on-5 practice since tearing his ACL last season.

"I definitely feel better than before. The way I move, the way I run, the way I jump, everything just feels more fluid," said Porzingis.

Rick Carlisle was encouraged by Porzingis' return.

"Many, many, many encouraging signs here. Days like today are extremely important. The impact that he had in practice was high. His length. Not only does he score the ball, but he moves and passes and can make plays. He was involved in a lot of things out there," said Carlisle.

Mark Cuban maintained that Porzingis would not play this season.
