The New York Knicks have had interest in Terry Rozier dating back to before his playoff run in 2018.

The Knicks will prioritize Kyrie Irving in free agency, but Rozier could be a more affordable and gettable option if Irving signs elsewhere.

Rozier will be a restricted free agent, giving the Celtics the opportunity to match any offer sheet.

Rozier turned down an extension from the Celtics worth approximately $12 million per season.

New York also has interest in Marcus Morris. Morris is expected to double or triple his $5.375 million salary for 18-19 as a free agent.
