The Los Angeles Lakers have serious interest in Dwight Howard following the ACL injury to DeMarcus Cousins.

Howard remains on the roster of the Memphis Grizzlies, but he is not expected to play for the team this season.

The Lakers' only other pure center is currently JaVale McGee. Anthony Davis would prefer not to play center.
