The Sacramento Kings have already begun to express some remorse over the four-year, $88 million deal they signed Harrison Barnes to this offseason, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Kings acquired Barnes from the Dallas Mavericks at the trade deadline.

Barnes declined his $25.1 million player option with the Kings and quickly agreed to his new contract.

The Kings are now contending with potential new deals for Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic, while De'Aaron Fox becomes extension eligible in 2020.
