The Milwaukee Bucks are currently on pace to win 70 games one season after they finished with the best record in the NBA.

“I don’t think there’s a team in this league we cannot beat,” Giannis Antetokounmpo said.

The Bucks have won 13 games by 20 or more points.

“I think there’s a focus and a purpose with this group that allows you to get through,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “I think if you have great purpose with what you’re doing every day, this group has that. All up and down the roster, you have a bunch of competitive guys, professional guys and we’re so blessed. We’re so fortunate to have the roster that we do. (General manager Jon Horst) did just an amazing job. And I think it’s just their character that helps. I mean, we’ve had a couple of duds. We’re not totally immune to it. But by and large, it’s an impressive group.”

“We just don’t want to get too ahead of ourselves,” Khris Middleton said. “Last year, we had the best record. We realized you can’t win the championship in the regular season, so we’re still going to get better. We’re still going to compete. We still want to play well. But at the end of the day, all this matters come playoff time.

“In the playoffs, the real games, that’s when guys step it up, and we can’t think, just because we had a great regular season, that’s going to carry us through the playoffs.”
