The NBA and the players' union are finalizing a temporary set of rules ahead of the league's potential resumption in Orlando.

The guidelines include several rules on signing players, including a transaction window from June 23rd to June 30th.

Other rules include the availability of players on two-way contracts to replace injured players. Teams will be able to sign substitute players from July 1st to August 14th to replace players who elected to stay at home.

Teams will also be able to replace players who test positive for COVID-19 up until the final day of the season, though the pool of available players will shrink to those with zero to three years of service in the NBA.

Newly signed players will be required to quarantine for seven days upon their arrival.
