The Utah Jazz will allow up to 1,500 fans to attend home games when the season starts on December 22nd.

Fans will only be allowed in the lower bowl and suite-level, with face masks and social distancing enforced.

The Jazz are also looking to increase the number of fans throughout the season.

"The Jazz believe this is a responsible way to start the season from a public health and safety standpoint. Our intent is to increase the number of fans as the season unfolds in compliance with state guidelines," released the team in a statement.

The Jazz open the season against the Thunder on December 23rd.
