Evan Fournier and the New York Knicks have agreed to a four-year deal worth up to $78 million.

The deal includes a team option for Year 4.

The Boston Celtics acquired Fournier at last season's trade deadline and wanted to keep him but it appeared his contract would be richer than they could offer.

Fournier averaged 17.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 42 games with the Celtics and Orlando Magic last season.
