The Portland Trail Blazers expect all three of their new acquisitions to play for them this season. Head coach Chauncey Billups confirmed he's looking forward to getting Eric Bledsoe, Keon Johnson and Justise Winslow on the court for the Trail Blazers.

Portland acquired Bledsoe, Johnson, Winslow and a 2025 second-round pick from the LA Clippers in exchange for Robert Covington and Norman Powell. Billups said trading two starters away doesn't change his goals for the season.

"Nothing changes with me. I'm trying to win every game I coach and live with the results. Obviously, everyone knows where our record is at."

Billups and Interim general manager Joe Cronin are on the same page with trying to build a championship roster. Cronin said that this deal created flexibility for the Blazers with their cap sheet, while also creating increased opportunities for breakout player Anfernee Simons.
