Golden State Warriors center James Wiseman is expected to make his return to the court on Sunday. Wiseman hasn't played in an organized game since March 15, when he suited up for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League.

Wiseman missed the entirety of the 2021-22 NBA season, while recovering from knee surgery. He was ramping up towards a return in mid-March by playing in the G League. Wiseman had to be shut down when he had a reoccurrence of knee pain after appearing in two games for Santa Cruz.

Now, Wiseman is excited to return, saying “I cannot wait to go out there and just play the game of basketball again. I’ve been through a lot of tough times."
