RJ Barrett and the New York Knicks have agreed to a four-year contract worth up to $120 million.

Barrett was the No. 3 overall pick by the Knicks out of Duke in 2019.

The Knicks and Utah Jazz have held discussions on a Donovan Mitchell trade with some proposals including Barrett. While the Knicks could still trade Barrett, he is now subject to poison pill provisions.

Leon Rose set a Monday deadline with the Jazz to reach on a trade for Mitchell otherwise the Knicks were prepared to commit to the Barrett extension.
