The Los Angeles Lakers have waived guards Dwayne Bacon and Javante McCoy. The Lakers signed forward L.J. Figueroa and guard Shaq Harrison to bring their roster back up to 20 players.

Bacon played 17 minutes total in two of the Lakers first three preseason games. The veteran guard averaged 5.5 points over those two games. McCoy did not see action in any of LA's preseason matchups. Both players are expected to land with the South Bay Lakers of the G League for the upcoming season.

Harrison is a five-year NBA veteran. He's played for the Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets and Brooklyn Nets in his career. He holds career averages of 5.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game over 175 NBA games.

Figueroa played for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League last season. He averaged 16.7 points and 8.7 rebounds over 32 games.

Both Harrison and Figueroa are also likely to play for South Bay Lakers following the preseason.
