Nike announced the suspension of its relationship with Kyrie Irving on Friday night.

Nike will no longer release the Kyrie 8, which was scheduled to come out on November 8.

"At Nike, we believe there is no place for hate speech and we condemn any form of antisemitism. We are deeply saddened and disappointed by the situation and its impact on everyone," said Nike in a statement.

Irving's deal with Nike was originally set to expire on October 1, 2023.

With several players wearing Irving's sneaker, it is not known whether Nike will request endorsed athletes to stop wearing the line altogether.
