The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to strengthen their wing position, ideally with a 3&D player. Given the Brooklyn Nets sudden excess of such players, the Cavs are interested in trading for Royce O'Neale.

After trading Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn finds themselves awash in wings. O'Neale is arguably the most attainable, given the combination of contract and cost to acquire.

The 6-foot-6 wing is owed $9.2 million for this season and $9.5 million for next season. The second season is only partially guaranteed for $2.5 million.

O'Neale is averaging career-highs at 9.4 points and 4.0 assist per game. He's also shooting a career-best 40.3% on three-pointers this season.
