Yi Jianlian announced his retirement from basketball on Weibo.

Jianlian was drafted with the No. 6 pick in the 2007 draft by the Bucks.

Jianlian, who lasted played in the NBA in 2012, won six Chinese Basketball Association titles with the Guangdong Southern Tigers.
