Jerami Grant has been in the NBA long enough to know trade rumors are part of the business. However, even as his name swirls around the rumor mill, Grant has no desire to leave the Portland Trail Blazers.

“You definitely see it,” Grant told Sean Highkin of the Rose Garden Report. “But it’s not anything in my control. I’m cool here. I’m good with what I’m doing. Keep my head down and keep working, keep trying to help the young guys as much as I can. But it’s definitely something you see. It’s not something you can do anything about, especially since I just signed a deal. I’m here for as long as they want me.”

Grant signed a five-year, $160 million deal with Portland as a free agent last offseason. When the Blazers traded Damian Lillard later in the summer, they kicked off a rebuild. That's started speculation Portland could be looking to trade Grant, who has a $27.6 million contract for this season.
