John Blackwell Withdraws From Draft To Play At Duke

May 23, 2026 9:56 AM

John Blackwell has withdrawn from the 2026 NBA Draft as an Early Entry Candidate. Blackwell will now transfer from Wisconsin to Duke for his senior season.

Blackwell was seen a potential late second-round pick, but was more likely to go undrafted. With a big senior season at Duke, Blackwell could improve his draft stock into the second round or even late in the first round of the 2027 NBA Draft.

As a junior for the Badgers, Blackwell averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game. The 6-foot-4 guard shot 38.9% on 7.3 three-point attempts per game.

With the Blue Devils, Blackwell will replace some of the scoring and shooting that Duke is losing with Cameron Boozer and Isaiah Evans headed to the NBA.

Rueben Chinyelu Withdraws From Draft To Return To Florida

May 22, 2026 9:01 AM

Center Rueben Chinyelu is withdrawing as an Early Entry Candidate from the 2026 NBA Draft. Chinyelu announced on social media that he's returning to the University of Florida for his senior season.

As a junior for the Gators, Chinyelu averaged 10.9 points, 11.2 rebounds and a block per game. The 6-foot-10 center performed well at the NBA Draft Combine but wasn't guaranteed to be picked in the first round of this year's draft. With a big season for Florida, who should be a favorite to win the 2027 National Championship, Chinyelu could vault his stock into first-round territory.
