According to Herb Williams, Ewing, who will become a free agent July 1, has not crossed the Knicks off his summer wish list after getting a standing ovation when he attended Game 2 of the Knicks-Raptors series at the Garden. Williams believes the Wizards are Ewing's first choice, especially if buddy Michael Jordan makes a comeback. Jordan tried to trade for Ewing last summer before Seattle snatched him. Ewing still has a home in Potomac, Md., and both Washington and Ewing appear intrigued about him serving as mentor to former Georgetown center Jahidi White.
