A little poorer, but somewhat wiser, Keon Clark returned to the First Union Center last night determined not to let the Philadelphia fans get under his skin.
Clark, a 6-foot-11 reserve, was fined $7,500 by the NBA for throwing ice into the stands as the Raptors left the court following their opening-game victory Sunday.
"I wasn't throwing it to anyone in particular," Clark told the Toronto Sun. "I just threw it. Basically, it comes down to the game of basketball. Fans talk to players, players talk to fans. It got out of hand. What I did wasn't professional. That's how it is."
