According to Clutchcity, Rockets GM Carroll Dawson said on 610 Radio that they want to draft players who are ready to learn the system now, rather than draft a player who is still under contract in Europe.  He's referring specifically to Pau Gasol and Vladimir Radmanovic, two Europeans who have impressed the Rockets.
