He's entering the second year of a 4-year, $36 million contract. He suffers from plantar fasciatis. He's also 34 years old and his name is Glen Rice.
Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reports that Rice's health is a major concern to the Knicks, who are hoping to be active in the free agent market and are zeroing in on Dikembe Mutombo and Chris Webber.
"The toughest part is that I can't do any type of running," Rice said over the telephone. "All I can really do is ride the bike. The doctors don't want any movement."
