Terry Pluto of the Akron Beacon-Journal writes that the Cavs' next move might be to sign free-agent guard Bryant Stith, who averaged nearly 10 points for Boston last season. The trade of Matt Harpring to Philadelphia leaves the Cavs vulnerable at shooting guard -- the options being Wes Person and Trajan Langdon.

With all the strong, athletic shooting guards in the NBA, General Manager Jim Paxson is fearful that the Cavs not only will come up short on offense, but especially on defense in the backcourt and need to add someone into the mix. Word is that someone is Stith, who will be 31 in December. In some ways, Stith's game is much like that of Harpring's, another reason the Cavs are interested.
