The case for Antawn Jamison is made in a convincing article in the San Francisco Chronicle. Jamison is in limbo waiting for the oddly ho-hum Warriors management to let him know what they will offer him in the way of an extension. Is Antawn comparable to Carter or Pierce? He's pretty darn close but there are some lingering doubts about his full game (especially his passing abilities). Are the Warriors prepared to pay a premium for Jamison because he is their cornerstone? Jamison himself knows he isn't the whole answer for Golden State but until Jason Richardson and Larry Hughes step up, he's the man with the franchise on his shoulders. The conclusion -- when you're as bad as the Warriors have been, show the man his money and move on.
