The Houston Chronicle is reporting that the Rockets have acquired Glen Rice, but the rumored 4-team trade reported this morning by the New York Post appears to have shrunk to a 3-team deal.

The Chronicle reports that Shandon Anderson and Howard Eisley have been traded to the Knicks. The Rockets received Rice while the Mavericks acquired Muggsy Bogues. Most importantly, the Mavs pick up a Traded Player Exception that could lead to the acquistion of Tim Hardaway.

The Foyle-for-Ward trade could be a separate trade. A straight-up trade of the two will not work under the salary cap, so perhaps the Warriors and Knicks are deciding who else to put into the deal.
