Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks scored 33 points to lead Germany to a 92-71 victory over Estonia on Friday at the European Basketball Championship, according to the AP.

Germany, which also features Mavericks center Shawn Bradley, got off to a slow start in the game at Antalya. But Nowitzki's 24 points pulled Germany to a 45-40 halftime lead. Bradley, a 7-foot-6 center, was born in Germany and in early August was granted German citizenship.

Another NBA player, Peja Stojakovic of the Scramento Kings, scored 21 points to lead Yugoslavia to an 80-66 win over Croatia. Yugoslavia has won four of the last six European titles.
