Tim Povtak of the Orlando Sentinel reports: The Orlando Magic kept the doors to their practice facility locked Thursday and off-limits to the media, leaving a question over the comeback of all-star Grant Hill, who scrimmaged with Tracy McGrady and teammates for a second consecutive day.
Hill pronounced his surgically repaired left ankle 100 percent healed after the workout, yet some skepticism remained with the start of training camp just three weeks away.
"The ankle is fine. It's not giving me any problems anymore. It's just that everything else on my body is sore." Hill said after the workout at the RDV Sportsplex. "It's great to be out here again and not have to worry about my ankle. Now I'm out there worrying about how to stop Tracy."
Despite repeated requests to watch Hill play Wednesday or Thursday with his teammates, Magic management declined to open the doors at RDV Sportsplex.
"At no point last year did my ankle feel this good. We played eight or nine games today, and I had no problem," Hill said. "I'm elated. The games aren't great, but I'm happy to be back putting on the Magic uniform. I feel like I'm part of the team again."
