Michigan Live reports that Despite a published report in the Denver Post this past weekend, the Pistons say there have been no trade talks with the Denver Nuggets regarding second-round draft pick Omar Cook, a point guard.

"When you make a deal like we did when we traded Mateen Cleaves (for Jon Barry and a future first-round pick) to Sacramento, people think we're looking for another young point guard, but we're not," Detroit's director of player personnel John Hammond said.
