Ho-hum. So what else is new. The Rocky Mountain News is reporting that Isaiah Rider blew off his first practice with the Denver Nuggets due to "contractual" issues. Coach Dan Issel is not highly amused. "No, it's not OK," Issel said. "It's a missed practice as far as I'm concerned." One has to wonder if Rider will ever quite get it. When asked if his behavior hasn't cost him a lot in his career, Rider says, "Yeah, that's a difficult thing, of course, compared to when I look around the league, I could be getting $70 or $80 million very easily. But things are the way they are. I have to go out and try to redeem myself." Nice start Isaiah.
