Death, Taxes and an injury to Marcus Camby.

The diagnosis is all too familiar to Knick fans. The oft-injured Knick center has plantar faciatis, the same injury that plagued Glen Rice all last season. Patrick Ewing fought off the ailment during the 2000 Playoffs. Or as the New York Post says, "is it contagious only in New York?"

"It's really no big deal," the center insisted to the Post, laughing as he iced his left foot. "Really, I'm fine."

"It's nothing. It's no Glen thing or anything like that," Camby said to the Bergen Record. "I don't want it to get blown out of proportion. I'm fine."

Knick fans certainly hope so. Losing Camby for any stetch of time thins an already short frontline. The injury could increase efforts to land a Disabled Player Exception for Larry Johnson, though that will be another battle in itself.
