Marcus Camby can expect a season filled with pain, suffering and self-doubt. That is the picture Glen Rice paints for his former teammate, who is experiencing the same foot problem that hampered Rice throughout last year.
"I'll tell you something about this injury, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy," Rice said. "It's hard to do anything without feeling discomfort."
Camby has been diagnosed with plantar fasciaitis, a painful heel injury that can only be corrected by surgery or long rest. Rice strongly advises that Camby not play again until he is close to 100% healthy.
