Monday, October 15, 2001 - MILWAUKEE - Another member of the Denver Nuggets fell victim to a knee injury Monday night.

Swingman Calbert Cheaney suffered a sprained left knee that may be a medial meniscus injury.

Cheaney was hurt during the first quarter of the Nuggets' 92-82 preseason loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center. He landed awkwardly after blocking Tim Thomas' shot with 8:43 remaining in the first quarter and had to be carried off the court.

He will be examined today in Dallas, where the Nuggets (1-1) play the Mavericks (2-2) tonight in another preseason game.
