Phil Jackson coached the Los Angeles Lakers to the past two NBA world championships, and coached the Chicago Bulls to six NBA titles from 1991-93 and 1996-98.

The self-proclaimed Zen master holds the NBA record for highest winning percentage both in the regular season (.746) and in the playoffs (.738).

As a player, Jackson was a role player on the New York Knicks team that captured the 1973 NBA championship. But his greatest accomplishments came with coaching Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and the Bulls, and Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
