Santa Monica -- Warriors coach Dave Cowens was unsure of the date NBA clubs are required to pare their rosters to 12 active players. But he's fully aware that he's got more candidates than positions that need to be filled, so some subtraction and juggling will be necessary.

"It's going to be tough," Cowens said.
