WHERE: Conseco Fieldhouse, Indianapolis.

RECORDS: Magic 1-0, Pacers 1-1.

BROADCAST: TV -- WRBW-Channel 65. Radio -- 580 AM (WDBO) in Orlando; Spanish-language coverage on 1440 AM (WPRD).

PROBABLE STARTERS: Magic -- F Grant Hill (6-8), F Horace Grant (6-10), C Andrew DeClercq (6-10), G Tracy McGrady (6-8), G Darrell Armstrong (6-1). Pacers -- F Jalen Rose (6-8), F Jeff Foster (6-11), C Jermaine O'Neal (6-11), G Reggie Miller (6-7), G Jamaal Tinsley (6-3).

MAGIC UPDATE: Orlando should be rested after opening the season Tuesday at home against Toronto, then practicing the next two days at RDV Sportsplex. McGrady stayed late after each practice to shoot free throws. He made four-of-10 in the opener.

PACERS UPDATE: Indiana lost to the New Jersey Nets on opening night but bounced back Wednesday to crush the Chicago Bulls. This is a team in transition. The Pacers are using a rookie, Tinsley, as the point guard.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The matchup between McGrady and Rose should be a great one. McGrady will be used this season to guard the opponent's best scorer. He did a great job frustrating the Raptors' Vince Carter in the opening game and is taking pride in his defense.

ETC.: The Pacers released veteran forward Derrick McKey, which really shows how much transition this team is facing. Miller is now Indiana's only player over 30 years old.
