@Kings, 8 p.m. today: After not returning the Spurs' phone calls this summer, Chris Webber won't even be around to greet them when they visit today. Though Webber could miss the first month of the season, the Kings still hold a sizeable home-court advantage at Arco Arena. In his last trip there, Tim Duncan turned his season around with 36 points and 21 rebounds. (TV: KRRT)
vs. Magic, 7 p.m. Tuesday: The Magic may have struck out in their attempt to sign Duncan two summers ago, but Tracy McGrady has turned out to be a nice consolation prize. McGrady, now arguably the best player in the Eastern Conference, finally has his partner beside him. If Grant Hill remains healthy, Orlando could wind up in the NBA Finals. (TV: FOXSN)
@Hornets 6 p.m. Thursday: The Spurs lost in their last trip to the Hive when Duncan air-balled a free throw in the final seconds. Duncan has gotten better at the line, but the Hornets have improved as well. Baron Davis has become one of the league's most explosive point guards. (TV: KRRT)
vs. Hawks, 7:30 p.m. Saturday: The Hawks landed Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Theo Ratliff, but still need seasoning. The Spurs won last year's meetings with Atlanta by 29 and 14 points. (TV: KRRT)
