The Denver Nuggets are back.
With the anomalous season-opening victory on the road well behind them, the Nuggets have restored familiarity.

Denver (1-2) lost again at the Pepsi Center, this one a 106-94 drubbing Saturday night at the hands of the Sacramento Kings, who played without injured power forward Chris Webber.

The Nuggets played without power forward Antonio McDyess, who is shelved until February with an injured left knee. They also played the final 2 minutes, 12 seconds of the third quarter -- and all of the fourth -- without coach Dan Issel, who was ejected after being whistled for two technical fouls while complaining about a call.
