Sunday, November 04, 2001 - The battle of the NBA all-star power forwards was postponed Saturday night because the Denver Nuggets' Antonio McDyess and the Sacramento Kings' Chris Webber were injured.
Many of the McDyess-Webber matchups have been thrillers, but McDyess is out possibly until February because of knee surgery, and a sprained left ankle could keep Webber out until December.
"We're both trying to prove we can still be a pretty good basketball team without our best player," Nuggets coach Dan Issel said Saturday after his team's morning shootaround at the Pepsi Center. "Clearly, there are a lot of times where we miss Mac and there will be a lot of times where they miss Webber. But they're still awfully good. They know how to play."
