An ex-Pacers reunion weekend begins Friday night when Mark Jackson and the struggling New York Knicks come to town. Jackson, who left the Pacers last summer to sign a free-agent deal with Toronto, was traded to the Knicks and won a three-player duel for the starting point guard job in training camp. He leads the team in assists (7.2) and is contributing 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. Jackson will be followed into town by Dale Davis and the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night. The Knicks are following the Pacers' lead in trying to develop a younger, more athletic team, but are struggling in the transition.
