Trend: Slow start. The Sixers' 0-5 start is their worst since 1997-98.
Who's hot: Dikembe Mutombo had 16 points and 18 rebounds against Houston on Thursday.

Who's not: Aaron McKie made just 3-of-15 shots in his return to the lineup against Houston.

Injuries: Allen Iverson (right elbow rehab) is day-to-day. Eric Snow (left thumb fracture), Matt Geiger (arthritis, both knees), and Samuel Dalembert (tendinitis, left knee) are on the injured list.

Trend: Mavericks totaled 13 blocked shots against Denver ? four by Danny Manning, three by Shawn Bradley.
Who's hot: Eduardo Najera had nine points and 10 rebounds in 19 minutes Thursday.

Who's not: Bradley hit only 2-of-7 shots against Denver.

Injuries: Adrian Griffin (back spasms) and Greg Buckner (sprained right ankle) are doubtful. Evan Eschmeyer (sprained left ankle), Darrick Martin (broken right hand), and Ruben Wolkowyski (sprained right ankle) are on the injured list.
