In two of the first six games, Murphy has been the object of two stray elbows and one open hand to the face. Rookie orientation is one thing, but this is ridiculous.

"Pretty soon, I'm going to hit somebody," Murphy said before the Warriors' 109-100 win over the Washington Wizards on Friday. "It gets to a certain point where you have to do something. People can't keep doing that. Five games into my career I'm not ready to start a melee, but 10 games in, 12 games in, yeah, I'll be ready. They can elbow me all they want, but they had better watch it. I'm Irish and you know how that is."
