There will be some soreness. Uncertainty will accompany some of his drives to the basket.

But Eddie Robinson can't take it anymore.

The non-acute fracture of his big left toe still affects the third-year forward, who Friday practiced for the first time in two weeks. But his pride hurts worse, which is why Robinson will make his Bulls debut Saturday against his former team, the Charlotte Hornets.

"I've seen myself in certain situations where I could have done something to help the team," Robinson said of watching the Bulls lose four of their first five games.

"I've seen myself in certain plays that could have keyed us to a win."

The Bulls, beset by controversy after fining Charles Oakley for derogatory comments about coach Tim Floyd, are desperate for any victory.
