In midst of a vast array of injuries to key personnel, the Hawks finally get a little ray of sunshine. Shareef Abdur-Rahim, the Hawks leader thus far, did not tear knee cartilage like the team had originally thought, so the Hawks can remove him from the injured list and place Crawford there after it was confirmed that he had a torn anterior ligament via a MRI.
While center Theo Ratliff remains in the injured list, GM Pete Babcock said short-term plans for him will be determined today.
