Just moments after the Celtics closed out last night's 101-93 victory over the Indiana Pacers at the FleetCenter, somebody handed Paul Pierce a stat sheet.
Pierce took one glance at the numbers, looked up and said: ``Antoine missed a triple-double again. Man, he was one assist short. Knowing me, I probably blew an easy bucket somewhere along the line and it cost him.''
Pierce laughed at the thought. When informed of his fellow co-captain's remarks, Walker had a good laugh, too.
Walker didn't seem to mind his latest in a line of near-misses at the difficult triple-double. Such is the nature of life in the locker room when your team's winning.
