ALTHAM - One of the Celtics' worst-kept secrets was that Paul Pierce was struggling from the line. After all, it's hard to hide a 67 percent free throw shooter, especially when he's the leading scorer. But after going 10 of 11 from the line against Indiana Wednesday to improve his percentage to .727, Pierce believes his free throw woes are behind him.

He changed his routine and stance at the line, going back to the way he shot at Inglewood (Calif.) High School, where he was close to 90 percent from the line.

''I told you I would get it together,'' said Pierce. ''Didn't I tell you all that? It's just concentration. I've finally got a routine that I'm comfortable with. I think with the first six games, I was changing up my routine too much. But after going over and over it in practice, I finally got a set routine.''
